A woman and her dog left Woodview Court at the top of Tahoe Park Blvd, walked through backyards to the groomed Granlibakken road to Paige Meadows. At Paige Meadows she got on the Tahoe Rim Trail and ended up at the top of Silvertip in Talmont. She saw a FedEx driver there and asked him how to get to Woodview Ct. He pointed north. She decided to go west instead, missed the groomed trail, which would have taken her back to Woodview by about 200 yards, and continued out into Paige Meadows. Once she got all the way through the meadows back to the Rim Trail she decided she was lost and called 911. A searcher talked to her by cell phone and had a rough idea where she was so a snowmobile and 2 skiers headed out. She was found (safe and healthy) by the snowmobiler after about an hour near where it was predicted she would be.
