At about 2:30 a large avalanche occurred near Olympic Lady Lift at Squaw Valley. It was reported that at least 5 people were caught in it. TNSAR was dispatched and 12 skiers responded and rode up Far East Chair to the scene. By the time we arrived 5 victims had been dug out alive and transported. TNSAR joined existing probe lines until the debris field was declared cleared.
