Another season come and gone...to be continued on Monday October 7th, at the reliable Granlibakken ski hut.

Before we sign off, a hearty note of thanks and congratulations to the 2012-2013 Members of the Year; that's right, plural: Holly Beatie, Cathy Strand and Gary Sterle. Of course this recognition is not only for their exemplary efforts during this season, but a larger acknowlegement of their consistent contributions to TNSAR year after year.

Also in May the team conducted our annual election cycle, with the President, Vice-President, and two Board positions available. Thanks and congratulations to all those who ran.

President: Chris McConnell
Vice President: Paul Honeywell
Secretary: Devin Heimstra
Treasurer: Scott Schroepfer
Board members (beginning 2 year terms)
Sara Carbonari
Geoff Quine
Incumbent Board members (still one year left on their voluntary assignment):
Scott Meyer
Troy Corliss

Note that all the trainings, search reports, and newsletter from any particular season (past or present) are under the "Archives" menu drop down at the top of any page.

TNSAR has a wealth of pictures, taken mostly from trainings. If any pictures were taken on a training, you will find them under the annual training archives (see the drop down menu at the top) for that particular training (note that Internet Explorer does not [yet] display these pictures; yet another reason to try a web browser other than IE). Additionally, you can also look at all the organized pictures on one page.

TNSAR is always looking for fresh faces and new enthusiasm. We are a team of broad roles, interests and needs, to include but not limited to:

If you are interested in any of these types of roles, or generally interested in TNSAR, please show up at the next general meeting to get your questions answered. The majority of the team representatives are not searchers; we have a variety of needs and seats for all. Come check us out!

The goal of TNSAR is to conduct fast and safe rescues, and to help educate the public on winter safety. If you would like to help TNSAR in this cause, please use the following PayPal donate link. Thanks!
